General Health and Safety Issues
A Quality Work Place is a Safe Work Place
General health and safety issues are regulated by the Tennessee Occupational Health and Safety Administration (TOSHA). The TOSHA regulations are very similar to the Federal OSHA regulations and the two are often used interchangeably. The EHS staff members are here to assist you comply with these regulations.
INDOOR AIR QUALITY
Indoor air quality issues are almost always related to maintenance and repair issues and should always be reported directly to the Department of Facilities Management Work Control. If necessary, the EHS staff can investigate complaints and take samples for analysis by an accredited laboratory.
