Dr. Deo Chimba took 10 Students to Transportation Research Board (TRB) meeting in Washington DC January 8^th听to January 12, 2022. Those are students who conducted Research with Dr. Chimba and submitted fully peer reviewed technical papers which was accepted for publications. Among the students were FIVE (5) students supported under听TRB Minority Fellowship Program.听TRB established the Minority Student Fellows Program in 2010 to actively explore research, ideas, and solutions from diverse perspectives.听Dr. has been leading this TRB under Minority Fellowship here at TSU and has supported a total of 24 students since 2012. Every summer he conducts research with these students and write technical papers in the transportation area.听This program seeks to increase the number of underrepresented minorities in the Transportation Systems field.
