Professional Biography

Dr. Felix Ogunmokun is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences. His research focuses on understanding and modeling water and chemical transport in soils to promote sustainable agriculture and water resource management.

Dr. Ogunmokun's work addresses critical challenges such as groundwater contamination from nitrates, the remediation of water-repellent soils, and the impact of conservation practices on water quality. He integrates advanced field instrumentation (including geophysical methods and vadose zone monitoring) with numerical modeling to develop practical solutions for complex environmental problems in agriculture.
